The firm was originally established by Douglas Laurenson (Alan's father) in 1947.

In 1969 Alan acquired a retiring practitioner's business and joined Douglas in his practice. This practice was involved in several mergers and ended up as part of a national firm. Douglas retired part way during this period in 1979.

In 1988 Laurenson & Company was re-established as an independent chartered accountancy and business services practice when Valerie became a partner.

 

Where are we?
We have two offices, one situated in Johnsonville, and the other in the city of Upper Hutt.
