Changes are afoot for those of you who file their GST returns online at Inland Revenue’s website.  Access to the standard online GST form found under the “Get it done online section” of the website will be removed from 10^th September 2013.

To continue to file your GST returns online you will need to register for a myIR Secure Online Services account.  This is a fairly simple process, just go to:

http://www.ird.govt.nz/online-services/ir-online-services-register.html

Follow the three steps and you’re done.

For those of you for whom we file the GST return, sit back and relax, you do not need to do anything.  The process will tick along seamlessly as it has before with us ensuring your returns are filed by the due dates.
