• GoCardless – Ideal for regular or subscription billing; set up automatic monthly direct debits

Our top tips

Pass on fees where appropriate

When using Stripe or other gateways, ensure your pricing settings are configured so the client pays the processing fee (if that’s your chosen policy). This protects your margin while still giving clients a convenient way to pay.

Use GoCardless for recurring invoices

GoCardless fees are deducted from your revenue, but the benefit is improved cashflow through automated, reliable collection. For recurring customers, this can significantly reduce administrative follow-up.
