What a day out!

Our team recently spent the day on Kāpiti Island for our very delayed Christmas function, and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

We’re proud to say we all made it! Some of the more hardy (and slightly more energetic!) members of the team took on the extra challenge via The Trig, adding a bit more adventure to an already solid climb. Whether taking the steady route or the steeper option, everyone showed determination and plenty of team spirit along the way.

It was quite the hike, but there was so much to see, including some cheeky native birds, dense bush, and breathtaking views.

While the views were incredible, the uphill grind definitely made itself known later. Safe to say, we all felt the aftermath that weekend! A few sore legs were a small price to pay for such a memorable day.

More than just a Christmas function, it was a chance to step away from our desks, challenge ourselves, and spend quality time together in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful spots.
